The food in Thai Square is always pretty good but the service this time was rather disappointing. There's no need to constantly top up glasses (water or wine) or to deliver the food so brusquely.
Thai Square at the Minories, London. It was surprisingly quiet for a Friday night - really enjoyed the food, it was really quite good Thai. Service was odd, one minute they were super attentitve, the next it was difficut to get someone's attention! The staff were lovely though and the food was quite quick. The wine of the week (Fonty's Pool, a West Australian wine) was good and great value. More than an average suburban Thai but reasonable given this restaurant is in the city.
Good atmosphere. Tasty food. A great spot to meet friends in the city.
