Eating at Thai Square in Putney was a delight. The staff are very attentive and made sure that all was well even though the restaurant was very busy. The food was fairly mild even though i went for the spicy options but the flavours were all there. This restaurant chain should be labelled 'Old Faithful' as you can pretty much guarantee a good time no matter which one you attend.
Our table at Thai Square, Putney, had a fantastic view overlooking the River Thames and is in a fantastic location. The food was good and we enjoyed the ambience, however the service was below average.
Fantastic food and great service Jaw dropping location
Thai Square - Putney Had a good meal here - none of the food really stood out but there was also nothing to complain about. Despite being in a fantastic location with great views of the Thames it is a little lacking in atmosphere - but in fairness we may just have caught it on a quiet night. Service was a bit hit and miss - and unfortunately couldnt understand a word that most of the waitresses said - but we got there and I suppose adds to the charm of the place
Nothing special at the end of the day but worth a visit. The location is great, overlooking the river, and the staff are very attentive. The food is fairly good and not awfully priced. Dinner for 3 came to £120 including a number of cocktails (which comprised a fair amount of the bill). If nothing else, I will always go back to Thai Square for its amaretto mojito which is pretty spectacular.
Delicious Food. Average service. Value with 50% off.
We booked Thai Square for a Thursday lunch as Toptable were running a 50% discount on all food. The restaurant location is excellent right on the river by Putney Brige but it was very empty on our visit and also extremely niosey as they were doing some building work downstairs. However the food was superb. We ate from the £30 per person set meal (reduced to £15) and every dish was lovely. There was so much left we took some home. Would recommend an evening visit next tiime.
We had a lovely family meal at the Thai Square for a special birthday. The food was very good and plenty of it too. The restaurant has lovely views across the river and they had no problems at all with us bringing a cake along and decorations for the table.
Great food as ever but shame about the miserable staff.
