The food was great and the service was fairly swift although we sat downstairs next to the door and it was a bit chilly as the outside door would not shut! Aside from that it was very pleasant.
we went to the Thai Square for an early dinner before going to the Albert Hall. Service was quick and polite, meal was good Thai food. Very enjoyable short stay.

Dived in for a quick pre-show meal at 6pm. Restaurant is quite small (thats not a criticism) and was full by 6:15 with other diners doing the same as us. Decore is simle but effective, service attentive but not ott. Food was very tasty, well prepared and presented. Particulary enjoyed the Mixed Thai starter P1 Would definitely go back
Okay - nice enough food but i have had better Thai - (i should admit that i would never normally eat in South Ken by choice). And the fryer wasn't working which meant no Tempura! Best thing about it was reasonable value for the area.
The food in Thai Square in South Ken was delicious, the service attentive but the atmosphere (upstairs)by no means inspirational, especially compared to the same restaurant in Putney. I would go again if I were in the area.
I would have expected more from Thai Square, simply because of its reputation. We ordered the chef's recommended seafood dish which was pretty good - nice and fresh and good flavours - but the red curry was ordinary and the golden sacks were cold. Overall all meals were luke warm in temperature, not what I'd expect from a restaurant in South Kensington. Would I go back? Probably not.
