You usually find whichever Thai Square you go to the service is great and the food tasty and inexpensive, this South Kengsington branch lives up to the high standard. 2 starters, 2 main meals and 2 beers came in at just under £30 which for tasty food, lovely wait staff and a nice venue really is a bargain.
Thai Square - South Ken isn't as nice as the one in the Strand. The food isn't half-bad but you're left somewhat feeling it could be better, that's all. Perhaps it's due to the smaller size. Simply put, if I had to go to a Thai Square, I'd try another branch.
Thai Square South Kensington is a very small but cos restaurant. The food was good but the service wasn't top notch. Two of our orders were not delivered, we had to ask for them after waiting for quite some time. The waitresses were very nice though.
We arrived, as booked, at opening time, 5:30 pm, for pre show dinner but my impression was the restaurant was not quite ready for us. That said, the service from then on was 1st class. The waitresses were charming and attentive and the food was very good and served without delay. I would certainly eat there again and have no hesitation in recommending it to others.
Second visit, great place.
Excellent food and great service. We really enjoyed our evening there, and thought the value for money was good for a central london restaurant.
