thai square - great food and excellent service as usual
coconut rice is fab ...other food including weeping tiger and king prawns badly overcooked and dry ....a very disappointing visit
The food was nice, but certainly not worth the extortionate prices. I know you are paying as much for location as for food when you eat outside Trafalgar Square, but considering the meal itself was slightly above average for what one would get at a takeaway Thai place, £65 for two curries, some starters and a half bottle of wine is just a bit too much for me. The atmosphere was lovely though - the waiters and waitresses were very friendly, and the place itself was lit beautifully.
Went to the flagship Thai Square in Trafalgar Square, before going to the ballet (so had an early booking). The restaurant definitely has something of a wow-factor, and is more visually impressive/attractive than the normal Thai Square branches. We were almost first in the restaurant at 6pm, but even so we weren't escorted to our table - just pointed towards where we were to sit. All uphill from here though, with a tasty meal! Dinner for 2 cost around £65 including a glass of wine each.

Solid Thai option for a pre-theatre meal. The tables are a little packed in but the service was good.
Thai Square in Trafalgar Square has super friendly service and good Thai food (for London). We had the scallops which are highly recommended and pad thai which was cooked to a very good standard. We also had the spinach with chilli and garlic and the papaya salad which was fresh and tasty. It is really convenient to get to from Charing Cross Station. The toilets are clean and I liked the Molten Brown soap and handcream. I would return.
Thai Square - Trafalgar Square is a nice place to eat, have been there twice and enjoyed my meal both times. Took several friends along second time and they all found smth to their tastes. Would probably revisit ..
