Good food, very convenient location. I was surprised at how busy it was for a Monday night, a good refelction of the quality of food and friendly service.
The food at Thai Sq was good, apart from beng served a chicken set menu box rather than veg with no apology for the mix up. gGenerally the service was slow and miserable which let the place down.
I've eaten at a few of the Thai Squares and they definitely upcharge you for the ambiance and white tablecloths at this location. My friend got the pad thai and he said it was only mediocre. Our cocktails were weak and the service lacking. It was fine, but nothing special.
Thai Square - Trafalgar square. This is one of my favourite Thai places, good value for money, nice ambience, service is average, but food and ambience compensate.
This was a nearly full, warm and comfortable restaurant even on a Monday. I had been a bit concerned by the description of its largeness in the blurb and thought it might be a problem, but not at all. The service was excellent in true oriental fashion and the food very good. The overall price was a little more than I had anticiapted, the wines being quite pricy, but in general it was a very good restaurant. Quite a find and a much better deal than the old BCCI, whose premises it now occupies
The Thai Square near Trafalgar Square is a nice looking restaurant with good service. The starters are fairly pricey when you compare them to the mains at around £6.50 each where as I would say the mains are reasonably price and very tasty. Very spicy but as you would expect from a Thai restaurant. I would definatley recomend this restaurant and go back again.
Good service. Pleasantly done. Very prompt with food. A useful venue before going on elsewhere.
We were running late for the theatre and asked if we could be served quickly, which they did but this did not influence the quality of dinner which was delicious. Would highly recommend Thai Square.
The Thai Square was a good place for a group meal. The food was fine, no complaints and decent value. They brought out extra starters for us (mostly deep fried), which was nice in theory but actually filled us up leaving much of the mains dishes left over. Everyone enjoyed their cocktails.
