Thai Square on Trafalgar Square offers good food and service. Plenty of choice for vegetarians and meat eaters so good for larger groups. The tables downstairs are very close together so perhaps not a place for a romantic dinner.
The Thia Square in Trafalgar Square London provided a perfect meal in the perfect setting on Xmas Eve. The food was excellent in taste and presentation, the staff polite and professional and the ambiance as one would expect in any top class restaurant. We would thoroughly recommend this venue in all respects.
Thai Square Trafalgar Square provides apparently authentic Thai food, well presented, but perhaps overly garnished, in a large, imaginatively decorated ground floor room and upper level area. Scallops were disappointingly bland, but our other four main courses were tasty enough. The "romantic" lighting is perhaps a bit too romantic (take a torch to read the menu). Service was swift and friendly, but had to ask twice for the bill (but then that happens in most restaurants).
the Thai Square - Trafalgar Square is a very convenient lunch time or pre theatre venue - the food and service is good and the decor is eye catching.
Thai Square was packed and we were pushed into a private room - as there were only 4 of us it has its pluses and minuses but we did miss the atmosphere of the restaurant. Service was slow but it was probably one fo the busiest nights of the year so I'll forgive them that - food was very good (when it arrived) but massively overpiced - £171 for 3 bottles of wine and a two course meal each for 4 people - call me old fashioned but in my view this was taking the mick!!
Thai Square didn't tell me my friend had arrived, and sat us at different tables! We finally found each other by texting. Not a great start! The room is lovely, especially at night, with candles reflected in the Xmas decorations. They were busy, but service was good after the initial false start. Maybe we didn't order well, but I found the food a bit dull and disappointing, compared to the express menu I usually have - this menu is not available over Xmas, apparently.
have been to Thai Sq in Putney but was recommended the Trafalgar Sq one by a friend. Food was tasty, however they got my main meal order wrong and had to wait 15 mins for my meal to come out after my friends meals had already arrived and were getting cold. Toilets were a mess.
Thai square (piccadilly) has great food but I always wish the portions could be bigger.
One of the best places for thai food is still Thai Square. With their lunch menue you are able to sample the cuisine at a great price. The portions are big enough and the red curry delicious. The decor may be a bit dated but it is still a good venue for business lunches, catch ups or dinner with friends. Would not necc recommend for dates...but then again if both love Thai it is the place to go!
