I went to Thai Square in Trafalgar Square on a Friday night using the pre-theatre menu but we did not fancy it when we got there so changed to the a la carte menu. I have been before and always enjoy the food however I thought the service was lacking, we felt under pressure to leave the table at 8pm, even though it took awhile for us to be served. We didnt eat using the offer so thought there would be some flexibilty especially as we were celebrating a birthday & bought a couple bottles of wine.
Had an early lunch on Saturday and nearly empty so not great on atmosphere but friendly service and tasty well presented food

Thai Square food and service were both excellent and the House white wine was a gem. Ambience a bit spoilt by an over=assertive complainer and a Polish carpenter assaulting a lump of 2 by 2 mid restaurant but that apart the basics were spot on.
service was ok, wine good. Excellent value and delicious Thai food. Nothing too complex. Try the Langoustines, or any of the beef dishes as they were wonderful. Its quite a noisy restaurant and tourists flock there as it's Traflagar Sq side.
Mid week visit to Thai Square off Trafalgar Square for family meal for four. Booked it because of top table 30% off deal. Ambience is lovely, place was pretty busy, and service was therefore very slow. Food was all good, but nothing knockout... And once you add wine it still ends up at £40 a head... So not cheap even with the deal.
We visited Thai Square in London on a Tuesday evening. The food was excellent - good size portions and very tasty. The service was friendly and attentive although our waiter didn't seem to know what was on the menu - not really a problem as he tried to help - perhaps he was new. The prices are higher than in most Thai restaurants, but the food here really is good. Book early to make sure you get an offer!
Good value pre-theatre dinner
Decent meal and good value with 50% off. Menu wasn't overly imaginative and dishes were definitely on the sweet rather than hot side, which probably reflects western preferences. The food was pretty good though, my parents particularly enjoyed it. Service was fine, nothing special and a mistake with the bill (two items added twice) was dealt with reasonably well.
