overnight stay for medical when we arrived and checked in the clerk was great, friendly and very helpful. The room was comfortable and clean.

Staff was exceptionally helpful and kind. Area feels safe. Easy walk to North Station. Quick food, restaurants, grocery store, CVS, coffee all within walking distance too. Small, easy and clean hotel restaurant/bar onsite.

Not Worth the Price The staff at The Boxer were excellent; too bad the accommodations didn’t match. The rooms are cramped, but I expected that from a historic building. What I didn’t expect were a leaking air conditioner (wet floor), non-functioning outlets in the bathroom, rock hard pillows, randomly replaced towels (no washcloths one day, only one bath towel another, only one hand towel a third day) and shaky outlets for devices (plugs had to be constantly monitored for sliding off). The feel of the hotel was very neat but it was grossly understaffed, the staff that was there was rude. We had to ask for everything (towels, waters, etc) and were given annoyed looks and the items reluctantly given. The restaurant was terrible. We waited 45 min for our food and our daughter was served fish and chips that had raw batter dripping out of it. My burger was very pink and my husband paid for a fried egg on his sandwich that he didn’t receive. Overall not a great experience. What it had going for it was location w... read more
