What started as a caring, happy home for the elderly needing assistance has now become a money grabbing, insensitive establishment. At one time, not only is the monthly fee going up but also these aging residents are being nickled and dimed for everything. Assisted living! Not only do they pay to live there, they have to pay for the medical alert bracelets they wear. My mother had a leg amputated and is in a wheelchair.
