What started as a caring, happy home for the elderly needing assistance has now become a money grabbing, insensitive establishment. At one time, not only is the monthly fee going up but also these aging residents are being nickled and dimed for everything. Assisted living! Not only do they pay to live there, they have to pay for the medical alert bracelets they wear. My mother had a leg amputated and is in a wheelchair. They are a bunch of thieves, out for the almighty dollar! My 90 year old mother needed a place to go. We didn't know the difference from assisted living and memory care. The Brennity said they would evaluate my mother for us. After a short interview, they said she would be perfect for their assisted living facility. We moved her in. After just two days, they told us she would have to have around the clock assistance at $14.00 per hour. That would cost $336.00 per day, over $10,000.00 per month!
