Our server Joseph was awesome, our meal was mediocre at best.
We came to celebrate our wedding anniversary, the food was delicious. We had the tomahawk stead that was perfect for two people. Our server was sweet and made us feel welcomed.

We ordered the couples special which was a very nice deal considering the normal prices on the menu. The only thing I didn't like was the upsell of the sparkling water or still water from a bottle. It made it seem like we didn't have any other choice for water as a result. The food was good and sitting out on the patio on 5th avenue was a great place to people watch.
Great place! Very enjoyable and recommended. We look forward to our next visit.

Went to SD for an overnight stay with my husband on MLK weekend. On the way down decided to make dinner reservations at the Butcher's Cut Steakhouse. We got there a little early before our reservation time, and were graciously greeted and seated. The decor is exquisite, food was delish the tomahawk steak was cooked to perfection with mashed potatoes and asparagus made our dinner complete! The highlight of our dining experience was our server, Nicky from Jersey. She was attentive, informative and a knowledgeable of the menu. The cocktails were okay and a fun start to the dining experience. The appetizers were not as good as expected. We had the Cajun shrimp which was fairly bland and did not have very much of a Cajun flavor. The crab cakes were small, overcooked and too much filler/breading.
