First time eating there. Everything from the food, service and timeliness was fantastic. We will definitely recommend the Butcher’s Cut to our friends and will be back ourselves.

Jen was a wonderful server. Highly recommend this spot for great steaks. Nice ambiance, although they could have turned the lighting down a tad to give it a more vintage steakhouse vibe.
Service was excellent! I got the scallops and they were just good, not anything out of the ordinary. My husband got one of the specials and enjoyed the lamb the most
Great quality food, interesting and creative menu, large portions, and just generally a good vibe. Business friendly, and they have a really cool looking table on the front patio. Great overall experience multiple times, seems underrated!

This is a hidden gem in the gaslamp district which ages its own steaks in-house and on display. The T-bone was cooked to perfection and juicy. The prime-rib had excellent seasoning although it had a little too much elastin but still tasty. The Caesar Salad was super fresh. Will return whenever I visit San Diego.
This was a new restaurant discovery for us while at Comic-Con, and we were very pleased we decided to give it a try. We were hungry early-birds and arrived at 4:30pm; we were seated inside and had the whole place to ourselves until shortly before we left. The quality of the food and service were outstanding. Niki was our server, she was faboulous, very attentive and made sure everything was taken care of for us. I will definitely return next time I’m in San Diego. The food was outstanding, one of the best steaks I’ve ever had. Our group ordered 4 side dishes, asparagus, garlic mash potatoes, glazed Brussel sprouts and the mushrooms. They were all fantastic. We arrived a bit early and the restaurant was not even open yet but the owner/manager sat us anyways, we really appreciated that.
