The steak and salmon were excellent, and the service was great too. We never felt rushed, but the pacing of the delivery of food and drinks also never left us waiting.
Overall mediocre. Would not go again. Grilled asparagus- cold and chewy Filet - good but nothing special Garlic mashed potatoes- good but nothing special Burger - good, spicy? Restaurant week 1st timers. Absolutely excellent!
Came during restaurant week, service was good considering it was very busy. I had the crab cake and sea bass which were delicious. My partner had the filet with mashed potatoes , it was fatty, extremely dry and difficult to cut. Would not recommend for the prices and quality of meat served.
Our server, Manuela, was awesome and she made the experience at Butcher's Cut very enjoyable. All of our meals were delicious, I had the crab cake and lobster ravioli which was very, very rich and filling. Most people in my group got the filet and I was lucky enough to try it and was very impressed with the flavor, so next time I will get the filet mignon. I will be coming back and recommending this restaurant to friends and colleagues.
We ate at Prime Cut Steakhouse after seeing managers present the menu items during a tv news story for San Diego Restaurant Week. The meal was very good, the restaurant was crowded at all and we had a very nice time
Excellent food, served and prepared as wee wanted.
Arrived right at the time of our 7:30pm reservation and were immediately seated. Was surprised to be put at a small table vs a booth considering it wasn’t busy. Assumed they were expecting other reservations, but none ever came. Our waiter was very attentive. The service was very good. The food was good, but at the price point, I’ve experienced much better. The service was OK. We were celebrating a birthday and no offers of a free dessert. We were charged for 3 bottles of water and we asked for tap water.
