The tomahawk for was perfect for two people. Order rare as it will cook A LOT on the hot stone.
We had the Tomahawk, it was outstanding. The chocolate lava cake however was not molten in the middle - either because that's just how they prepared it or because it was botched, not sure. Service, ambiance, noise level was perfect.
This was a great experience for our first steakhouse since being back in San Diego! Our waitresses were great and the food was on point! My steak was cooked to perfection!
The Butchers Cut salad and the steak were delicious.

We went for Thanksgiving and had their prefix meal. My family and I chose this restaurant because they had the most options as far as starters, main, and desert. Every other restaurant that day in the gaslamp quarter was only offering two per course. The price was also much lower. The food did not align with the price difference, it was excellent. Service was great and fast. Continued to check on our table to ensure we were satisfied.
In my opinion it was over priced for the quality and taste of the food. We arrived for an early dinner around 4:30 and it was completely empty inside. The music playing wasn’t great but the music in the kitchen was blaring on and off and there was a lot of shouting which took away from the experience. Even though I wasn’t a fan of the food (under seasoned), the service was great. Very attentive wait staff.
