As I mentioned in a previous review of this visit to the Chateau, we did the call ahead reservation. I mentioned that to the hostess, who told us she would check on our table. No response after that, We waited for 15 minutes, with several parties coming in after us and being seated before us. Finally, I spoke to the hostess. We have been to this restaurant many times. The food is always good and was on this visit as well. The service was very slow which was unexpected.
Very friendly staff. Portions were large. Food very good. I would recommend this restaurant to friends. Easy access to the highway.
Pasta did not come with any lasagna or chix parm dishes. When we asked asked for a little pasta, no sauce with it. All dishes came out warm, not hot.
Waiter overwhelmed with tables to be worked on. Never filled waters; took forever to get bread. Rude, abrasive, but food is fairly good. Expensive for what you get.

I like this place. The lake side tables make s huge difference when enjoying your meal. The waitress was prompt , curtious, knowledgeable and very pleasant to speak with .
Wonderful dining by the lake and have heard rumors that Chateau may be coming to Franklin, MA next. Yipee!
We have been dining at the chateau for years. Recently over the last several visits we have experienced cold food repeatedly. We are puzzled at what the reason would be as the restaurant was not busy on these occasions.
