Service (Shayla P.) was excellent tonight. Took my wife to dinner for our first valentines. Sadly the food did not meet the expectations of what the price was. The prawn soup had a very strong sea taste. The desert was very bitter and our main dish tasted like airplane food instead of 5 star restaurant food.
We really enjoyed our dining experience at The Chef’s Table. The restaurant is owned by the same person who started Peli Peli so there are still some South African influences on the menu. Our server was Brenda and she was very good. Our food was also very good from the humus starter, which is different than other humus dishes we’ve had to our perfectly prepared steaks. The restaurant is noisy and brightly lit, so don’t expect a romantic atmosphere. Great experience. Thank you.
Three words…tasty, tasty and tasty. This is a breath of fresh air in the restaurant game here in houston. It brings in international flavors and every item is very unique. Will definitely be suggesting to all friends and family. Oh and did I mention the ambiance and overall experience was fantastic. Thanks Chef Paul! - Ali and Julia
