I been here many times. The food is always great but the service wasn’t that great. I will say this as kindly as I can but I felt the waiter keep waiting on other people more than she wanted to wait on us.. pack our food and forgot to bring it back until I said something and after that disappeared . We still left here a nice tip. But we must do better on attending to all customers not just the white ones.

We have been loyal patrons to the chef since Peli Peli and Peli Peli Kitchen, and were incredibly bereft after their closing! We were overly delighted to discover the chef had reopened in the same location with a few revamps to the menu while still keeping the integrity of its predecessor. I met a friend here for lunch during Houston Restaurant Week. Staff was warm and welcoming. The food was well presented, and the menu had a good mix of options. Our fish was moist, firm, flavorful. We shared a sticky toffee pudding for dessert. I would definitely return the next time I am in Houston.
