Very pleased, I would recommend to others and I would absolutely stay again. Bathrooms are rather small, but this was expected for a historic building. Beautiful location. Historic building with tons of charm. Super clean rooms. Friendly staff. Amazing location within walking distance of all the things a Chicago tourist could want. Check in and check out was quick and simple.

Altherrschaftliches Prunkhotel Die "Elevated"-Hochbahn fährt hinter dem Haus und um 6 Uhr beginnt der Berufsverkehr, das hört man, nichts für Lärmempfindliche und das Nachtleben findet nicht in Downtown statt, das war zu weit weg ohne Auto. Die Lage mitten im Loop ist super, alle Sehensewürdigkeiten in Gehnähe und das Hotel ist altherrenschaftlich, nichts für den modernen Geschmack, pompös und fast viktorianisch.
Pleasant It can be rated as 3 star hotel rather than 4 star. Traffic noise at night. Rooms need to be upgraded. Corridor outside rooms have carpet and at times there is an odd smell. Central location, bed was comfortable but furniture looked worn out. Reception staff was very helpful but luggage storage staff was not up to mark.
