Really enjoyed the city and the location. The breakfast buffet at the gazebo. The eggs were runny and the biscuits were hard, as were the croissants and doughnuts. I liked the location and the frequently doorman Steve. he was very helpful and kind.

Wonderful I got the feeling that i was in an inferior part of the hotel ??? Just a feeling. We seemed to be the only hotel guests in the area of the hotel we were in. I never saw or heard another person. It was kind of creepy. It was a small room. I didn't see any other rooms so I cab't compare. I know it is an old hotel and probably a lot of the rooms are small. The staff was pleasant. Everything was clean. It was creepy and lonely.
Average standard rooms but SO affordable and perfectly located Every other review I've read has said it and they were correct - this is an OLD hotel that hasn't been maintained all that well. I can see that once upon a time (and maybe one day in future) it was absolutely spectacular, but it seems to have not been updated for decades. The photos make it look more modern than it is so as long as you manage your expectations about the facilities being fairly low standard (as I did), you'll be fine.
