Ideal for location & if not intending to actually spend much time in the rooms! Clearly all the budget went on the main lobby, which is intricately designed & quite grand. The rooms themselves are in dire need of renovation, incredibly basic. For the price I was expecting a lot nicer of a room, but it was in reality a carbon copy of like a standard premier inn/ travelodge room. Very Good A lot of the amenities are dated, but this is a historic hotel, so that's to be expected. The hotel bar was nice, although no table service. You have to get up and get your own drinks. Parking was a little pri2, albeit super convenient. We chose to park in a lot on the next block for half price. You can't beat the location. Staff was super friendly for the most part.
