Ok aber Renovierung waere notwendig Das Hotel ist deutlich in die Jahre gekommen! Es braucht Renovierung. Die Lage ist sehr gut
Wonderful Great location right downtown, walking distance to Union Station And close to Metra And L transit. Staff was incredibly amicable And friendly. While it has the hallmarks of a old hotel it does not feel run down, the room was very clean And the water pressure was good. I would absolutely stay there again.

Very Good Pathetic shower. The photos of our room that was the confirmed booking showed a small table & chairs. That wasn't the room we got. The location was great. Grant Park is just across the road. Can walk to the CBD & tourist areas. Close to Hop on hop off stop. The hotel is very grand, of yesteryear. Can imagine it would have been quite something when it was first built. The housekeeping staff were lovely.
Very Good Pillows, blankets, the shower, no body lotion I had to book this hotel because it was the most affordable place (still at $300 per night!) l could book 11 months in advance of my son's college graduation. The negative reviews made me have low expectations so I was pleasantly surprised with our experience. The hotel is old but still retains some of its Art Deco charm.
