The Cottages of Monroe is home to several of my friends. They love the activities Margie plans for them. They love the residents get together and are social. The comfort and security living there is the best! The Cottages Maintenance is unbeatable. If you don’t want to change a lightbulb just call Charles and he’s there to do it with a servants heart and smile!!

To live at the Cottages of Monroe provides a residence any senior adult could desire. On my first visit, a kind dweller allowed me to tour her spacious home. Sold immediately. The family-like atmosphere of executive director Margie Briscoe and her maintenance technician husband Charles provides not only hospitality but also security. My parents moved to The Cottages last year and we could not be more happy with this senior community. Units are nice and landscaping is always kept fresh with seasonal plantings. Maintenance is super fast if you have an issue. Margie, the Manager, has gone far beyond to create a community that is welcoming by providing opportunities to gather and socialize. This was the best decision my parents made when they decided to sell their home and move to a place where they did not have to worry about property upkeep.

It took us a year or searching to find the Cottages, we were on the waiting list for 18 months. Now all I can say is was well worth the wait. Just wish we had started earlier.

You couldn't find a better place to enjoy senior living with a group of friendly people! My husband and I moved to "The Cottages" a year and a half ago as we downsized and moved closer to family. Margie, Charles and Karen are the best and take care of us with genuine care and concern. We've never regretted making this change!

My dad lived at the cottages for several years after my mom passed away. It was a great place for him to be. There were so many opportunities to get together with other residents and he really loved walking each day around the property for exercise. And a bonus for me was that I knew Margie was attentive to his goings and comings and that was very reassuring. Great place I highly recommend.
