To live at The Cottages when a resident is still able to live life with modest requests: lovely accommodations, care for premises, and delightful neighbors. The additional care by an administrator who can care for daily needs and fantastic events weekly as well as a grounds exceptional, make daily living a serene environment.
Our Dad is a current resident and has lived here almost 3 years. It is a very well run and maintained facility. Perfect place for him to be at this time of my life! Our mother recently passed away, and they both lived here. It worked out very well that he is continuing to be able to be with his friends and staff!!

Our parents moved to the cottages a couple of years ago as they found they were unable to care for their home. They worried about leaving their home behind, but discovered when they moved to the cottages that they had found their home away from home. My mother has since passed away and my father continues to live there independently. We chose The Cottages of Monroe because it felt like HOME when we visited. We like our cottage and our neighbors throughout the village. Our director makes sure that there are activities available to us if we chose to participate. This is our HOME and we are thankful for the friends that we have made here. Since moving here we have experienced some health issues that forced us to ask for help. The help was given willingly and lovingly. The Cottages of Monroe is charming and warm. The residents are like family. Everyone looks out for each other. My mom moved there after retirement. The Cottages gave her a social life like no other. The manager treats all of the residents as if they were her parents. It is truly a special place for seniors.

My mother lived at the Cottages for many years. She has never been happier! The activities kept her social calendar filled all the time. The residents are like a family. They take care of eachother and are so welcoming to everyone that comes in the door. The director of the facility is absolutely amazing . She loves the residents and constantly has trips, lunches, plays, etc planned for them. I can't say enough wonderful things about The Cottages! The best place for your loved one

If you are looking for an independent senior living community in the Monroe area, I highly recommend The Cottages of Monroe. The Cottages are warm and cozy, just like you want them to be when you are growing older. The community is small enough that you feel like family from the minute that you take up residence. A quiet, peaceful setting, well-maintained landscape, lovely cottage with all the amenities, friendly neighbors, 24 hour security, medical facilities within ten minutes, staff members always available to meet our needs: Welcome to the Cottages of Monroe. My father moved into the Cottages with the hope of moving my mom from an assisted living into the apartment with him. 2 days later she moved to Heaven. I was grateful Dad was living there. He needed to be around people. I was a few miles away but couldn’t spend all of my time with him. [name removed] opened her doors and heart to my dad.
