Unfortunately, this location didn’t hold up to our standards. We’ve been to the Fremont location and it was great. But yesterday we went to the Santa Clara one and right off the bat the host was rude and then after waiting almost 25 mins I go to ask how much longer and he doesn’t see my name on the list...I was irritated, he told me he texted us but we never got anything and we were sitting right outside waiting the whole time. My pup and I went to The Counter on Halloween (on a whim, on our way home). Prior to sitting outside, I asked if they would be able to turn on the heat lamp. The hostess said yes. Get your service up to par. It is sucking majorly.
We ordered the old school hamburger, it looked beautiful, but was missing flavor. The hamburger was very bland. Even after asking for thousands island dressing, ketchup, mustard the burger was tasteless. It's sad having to pay 9.75 for each burger. We also ordered the onion strings, which I have to say we're very good. Even without ketchup. Although the service was excellent we Don't think we'll eat her again. Burgers are better at In-n-Out
