i have been a Cove resident for over 10 years. i have experienced new owners and management come and go. A couple years ago the Cove was purchased and the new owner embarked on a much needed complete renovation. It was very difficult on the residences as we were moved around to accommodate the construction. Lots of longtime residences left. Just moved into the Cove Apartments, and I must be living in a different place than the negative reviews I'm reading. Natashia Smith, Talia, and Carla in the front-office helped me with difficult problems and maintained a completely cheerful and helpful manner, slicing through my difficulties effortlessly. It's somewhat expensive, but hey, welcome to Marin county, but it's well maintained, has fabulous views, wild geese and egrets feed right outside my window. After living here for quite some time, I am still loving it! Aside from the occasional neighbor who is not happy for whatever reason, the residents here are generally great! Everyone I talk to here also loves it. Being right on the water in a quiet, safe location is wonderful. The management team here has been greatly improved from how it used to be over a year ago. What can we say about the Cove. Hmmm. The maintenance guys are the best by far that I've ever seen. They are truly good human beings. The office folks are great, especially Jack who is now gone (unfortunately for us) and some new people (less informed) have moved in. They accept dogs and the grounds are nicely maintained. They supply poop bags to keep it that way along the grounds along with garbage cans. The only problems are the construction is THIN so you hear EVERYTHING your neighbors are doing and I mean everything.... read more
