The evening was beautiful, so I asked around for outdoor spots, and was told to give the cove a try. I’m so happy we did. Everything was perfect. Beautiful setting, great server, nice choices on the menu. The drinks are pricey, but good! The food is presented beautifully and tastes as good as it looks! Looking forward to going back!

My husband wanted to have lunch 'al fresco' so we drove there from Northport. There isn't a lot of restaurants by the water on the North Shore of LI, and even though it is next to the marina, I guess it still counts. The smell of the tide wasn't so great, but the restaurant was very nicely decorated inside and well arranged outside. The service was good and so was the food. We very much enjoyed Chef Brandon's roll. In all it was a nice outing.
I realize that outdoor restaurants such as The Cove must make most of their business profit in the summer months. However, I think they are a bit too expensive for feeling that I would like to go there often.
Dining outside on a summer’s evening at the Cove was a treat. There aren’t many restaurants that offer up the ambiance, scenic beauty and wonderfully prepared food like the Cove. That’s why we are returning. Can’t let the summer go by without coming back.. though I’d imagine autumn must be dazzling!!
We've been here before and enjoy the location and food. Well be back!
