Started coming here when they opened and so far love the experience in here. Everything is well kept, cleaned, and maintained. Employees always friendly, helpful, and do it all with a smile! Never feel intimidated like I have in previous gyms.

I am easing back into the gym after taking time off due to the pandemic. This gym is bright, airy, clean. So far, so good. I am looking forward to movie night in the cinema room!

Cannot say enough how this gym is the definition of what a sports club should be in Connecticut right now. Fairly priced, mega clean, state of the art equipment, KNOWLEDGEABLE TRAINERS AND STAFF WHO ACTUALLY LOOK THE PART AND KNOW THEIR CRAFT. Cannot stress this last part enough- because the environment they're creating in these clubs isn't just about 'marking time' or 'treading water' or 'staying fit'- it's about progress. My 2nd time in the Glastonbury location, and was only able to get in 2 sets before leaving in frustration. Nobody moves of their machines until all of their social media and emails were checked up on and no consideration from anyone on the floor to move on and let others in. I thought this was going to be the one gym that would be a perfect fit, it is not. I wasn't the only one walking out discouraged.

If I could give a zero, I would do so. Canceling your membership is ridiculous. The Edge directs you to ABC Fitness, which is the finance company. You need to give 30 day notice. You can't do online nor over the phone. I wish I had never joined. Typical negative stereotype of a gym.

gym is spacious and clean. it seems to specialize in high resistance training for young people. there are adequate aerobic machines but no dedicated stretching equipment. my biggest gripe is the constant throbbing loud music that is everywhere. it cannot have universal appeal. and, it makes it impossible to hear the your personal media which most people have. i don't know why there has to be music!

Rude/arrogant management. All they want is to lock you in to a contract. The low reviews speak for themselves. Pass on this chain folks.

I would not recommend due to them not waiving the 30 day notice rule for cancellations for someone who is incapacitated by a disease that they developed over the last month. This individual was just diagnosed and told he can't exercise. This company is making him pay for next month because you have to give 30 days notice. They are not willing to waive notice for any reason. If you join you better replan any emergencies that will prevent you from using there gym because they will charge you and not let you out of notice e... read more

Hello Amber it is standard to waive the 30 day notice for medical reasons if a medical note is provided. The cancel can be processed the same day as the note is provided and the note does not need to include any personal health information. I posted a few weeks ago about Edge fitness at the Glastonbury location facility. I noted that the upkeep of facility is not great. Stationary bike had been out of order for a couple of weeks. The yelp response from manager was that it would be fixed. It's been 5 weeks now and 2 more bike machines are down! Where are the membership dues going??

Hi Satish, we certainly apologize for this experience. Although there are times where we are waiting on deliveries, clubs can also run out to local stores to stock up in the meantime. We will be sure to address with your local club management.
