The bartender was extremely rude, unprofessional, and confrontational. He complained about management repeatedly to guests at the bar, belittled his coworkers, and screamed at me about bar etiquette for trying to tell him that some people had been trying to get his attention.
Style over substance I like modern, quality hotels in central locations. When booking, the Envoy looked just the ticket, unfortunately it did not deliver when we arrived there. Check in was quite impersonal, but not bad. When querying about the cost of an upgrade, we were made to feel that an 'Expedia' or other 3rd party customer was not as valuable as a direct client. Great Hotel Great Experience, the staff was very helpful and accomadating. Great location for sight seeing Boston. The only thing lacking is I wish the rooms had a mini fridge. The rooms and the hotel overall were very clean and modern.
Beautiful hotel Loved the atmosphere of this hotel. Very modern/trendy. Brunch at the in hotel restaurant was amazing, and reasonably priced (esp. for Boston). Parking is atrocious, and valet is $49/night. Loved the shower. Rooftop view is gorgeous.
5 stars A good time. Good design. Get rid of the tv stand. Great shower. Nice amenities!

Beautiful and modern hotel Our first time at Envoy and will definitely go back. The rooms are clean, comfortable and have a great waterfall type shower. The toiletries are top notch as well. The bar is great. The bartenders are friendly, especially Brian, and the food and drinks are delicious. Enjoyed the rooftop igloo bars. It is open from 4-10.
