New hotel going through soft opening challenges. I decided to stay at the Envoy as it was the new kid on the block and I had previously stayed at all the other Seaport area hotels. Location is decent and will shine once all of the construction in this up and coming area is completed. We had a beautiful deluxe room that had a full water view of Boston. Nice new boutique hotel Great new roof top bar. Miami meets Boston. Great complimentary breakfast-thoughtful, healthy choices. Room was nice. Staff was very pleasant.
new hotel with stylish rooms and nice views A brand new hotel overlooking Boston Harbor, the Envoy was stylish and spacious, with good service, good wifi and good views of the water and skyline. The immediate neighborhood is getting built up with apartment towers, but still feels very quiet and, at night, a bit empty. But convenient with short walks to South Station and the Long Wharf.
Overnight stay The rooms are cute and trendy. The shower/vanity area is separated by a glass divider wall that does not give much privacy. Great for a couple but a bit awkward staying with my 13 yr old son. Loved the Fresh (brand) toiletries. The coffee and breakfast are on floor 2 in guest services. All of the hotel information is on the television, but I didn't realize that until after I went wandering for my morning coffee. Very close to the launch service to and from Rowe Wharf and the Barking Crab on Sleeper Street opposite the Court House this was vey convenient because I am a member of BHSC and got free service to and from. I like to park my car under Rowes Wharf for $18.00 on weekends. stunning view on the bar up top
Boston Best My Husband and I got away for a quick overnighter in Boston. We decided to stay at the Envoy because it was in the seaport district an area we had not explored yet, and it is brand new. Open just a few weeks. Everything was great! From the moment we arrived and they met us in the street to help with our car and bags to the moment we left when they escorted to the door of our car with umbrella waiting. Trendy and Brand New This hotel is a very new/modern style hotel just across the river from the wharf district in Boston. The location is great for site seeing, shopping, etc. and the condition of the hotel is excellent. The only down side is that there is a MAJOR construction job going on next door (July 2015) that undoubtedly will not be done for another year or more. Great hotel. Easy access to the city! We stayed there with a family of 5. The rooms were small for all of us to sleep but we made it work with two queen beds (and a chair). The showers are a little see through so changing was a bit of work as some would use the bathroom and some would change in the shower. With little kids this was a problem but we worked around it!
