We have been to the Fountain Room several times for special occasions. We love the atmosphere and the classic vibe. The service, food and overall experience are always on top.

Nice place but not on par with other Indy steakhouses. Waiter forgot to mention dinner specials that weren’t on the menu for the evening, overheard a different waiter behind us. Waiter also neglected to write our order down and ultimately messed up the order. Food itself was ok, strip steak was overcooked and over-seasoned with salt and somewhat unbearable to eat. I’m not typically one to complain about food or service but for a $300 dinner for two, would expect better on both levels.

This was our first time coming here and we decided to try it out for Brunch. Very cool atmosphere. Great service. Prices were great for the amount of food you get. Only issue? They were oddly out of a a LOT of food at 11:30 am. No yogurt. No fries. No steak. No bacon. Found that a little odd for brunch to be out of so much food. But we made it work.
