We ate here for our anniversary and it was really nice. The best touch was that the staff wrote and signed an anniversary card for us which was so sweet. It was our first time here and I had selected bar seating on my reservation thinking it would be a little more secluded, but I didn't realize the bar was right at the entrance and we were sat by the host stand, so it was definitely not secluded. Great decor. Hushpuppy appetizer is definitely worth trying. Burgers and fries are good too. Not the cheapest restaurant you'll find but the quality is high. Last but not least, Chelsea was possibly the best server we've ever had. That was a consensus among all 6 of us. She was knowledgeable, attentive and had a great sense of humor! Will request her next time.

Our waitress was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. However, the wrong steak cut was brought to my husband and the temperature wasn't medium rare, which is what he requested. I had the tuna and the sauce in the rice was boring. Management was apologetic, but it will probably be awhile before going back here.

We appreciated the upscale experience without the black tie dress code. The parking was easy and convenient.

The food was awesome and the service was even better! I love the decor. The bartender was also wonderful, some of the best drinks I've had.

I have been to the Fountain Room on 5 occasions. Three times for diner and two times for brunch. Ever experience has been exceptional. The food is amazing and the staff are world class. I travelled extensively throughout the world on business and entertained customers at five star eateries. The Fountain Room has met my expectations ever time I have dined there.

We tried the FR again as we heard a new executive chef had started. The food is pretty much the same - bland and overpriced. Whilst the staff is nice and attentive, I still don't know why majority of wait staff in this city think I may want to hear their life story and ....tell diners how the dinner will progress... eg: "I am taking your order now, putting it into the kitchen... and the appetisers will come out shortly followed by the main course....." Yeah... I mean isn't that how dinners go everywhere?
