Very nice facility. Focus is on memory care. Have a follow-up visit to determine if Grant qualifies for veteran's financial assistance.
They do a good job. It's very clean and the staff is very friendly. It seems like they serve a lot of starch, not enough fresh fruits and vegetables with the meals. Benjamin is very attentive, and approachable to talk to, he is always willing to stop and chat in the halls, and Nadia is wonderful too, they are both very special and really make the place great.
My father moved into the hamptons at salmon creek in 2014. As a daughter I was very concern about leaving him alone in the care of strangers . I was worried about him being neglected and lonely. You can rest assured that your family member is getting nothing but the best care there. they truly care about the residents well being and always have time to keep the family updated on their progress. the place is beautiful, clean, modern. the staff's are friendly , warm and kind. also the food is delicious. I can sleep well at nigh... read more
I cannot say enough about the people involved with memory care facilities! The agonizing emotions that you go through making decisions for your loved one is one of the toughest things in life. After many months of looking and learning about Memory Care facilities The Hamptons at Salmon Creek was by far the BEST! Letting go of that 24/7 care for Dad has been a challenge for myself but when I step back and take a deep breathe, it’s calming to know he’s being taken care of by all the dedicated people at The Hampton’s at Salmon ... read more
Initial interface with Staff during pre-move in was good. Everyone put their best face on the facility and personnel. Once move-in occurred the initial personnel disappeared and no one cared to help get the resident settled and cared for properly. Worse, there was not enough staff to help care for all the residents at the facility. What was promised at the beginning never materialized. In fact, our family member did not receive ONE bath in 3 weeks despite repeated requests. It took a hospice request to get our family member ... read more
The community itself is clean, but it smells like poop often, they could use some better air filtration. When it comes to the care services they don't have enough staff to make sure mom gets out and walks. As far as activities, they are boring and mom never wants to do them. The value is very expensive for what little they have to do for mom .
There were a few aides that were really good. But overall, The Hampton is not that good. We found our loved one in unacceptable conditions. When we brought it to the staff's attention, they showed concern, but the issue wasn't taken care of appropriately.
This is a horrible place. The upper management was rude and refused to listen to my parents daily care plan or implement it during there short stay. During covid isolation they had no TV or music. They refused to put my mom in the recliner and kept her in bed unless she was eating. They also would not change her out of her PJ's during the day. One caregiver was impatient that my mom was not swallowing her food fast enough and kept forcing her to eat which made her cry. I am so thankful my parents are out of this place. Oh, t... read more
