Keep Searching. This is a horrible place. The upper management was rude and refused to listen to my parents daily care plan or implement it during there short stay. During covid isolation they had no TV or music. They refused to put my mom in the recliner and kept her in bed unless she was eating. They also would not change her out of her PJ's during the day. One caregiver was impatient that my mom was not swallowing her food fast enough and kept forcing her to eat which made her cry. I am so thankful my parents are out of t... read more
BED BUGS!!!!!!!! O MY GOD………… When one of the staff at this facility told me she was quitting because there was bed buds, we moved out our parent as fast as possible. She said it had been going on for six months and they have not been able to get rid of them because they would have to move everyone out and put a tent over the facility for a month. Further she said there was only one nurse for sixteen hours of the day for sixty plus very debilitated residents, and when there are two nurses it’s only to hand out pills. So, why... read more

first of all this is my 2nd review. my father had a stroke there after being there 8 days. while they could not have prevented it ,they could have noticed which they did not. On the 9th day he was admitted to the hospital and they said he had the stroke 12 to 24hrs before we saw him. They did eventually refund our money back after I was threatened with the police for asking questions about the refund and why they ordered a whole round of meds for him when he had been gone a month. Now 5 months later I get a message on my pho... read more
We were told not to visit our dad for two weeks to let him get acclimated to the community. We visited after nine days and found that he had had a stroke and nothing was done. We took him out of the community at this time. The community did not stop his medication from being delivered. The marketing person so nice and helpful before my loved one moved in. The last person we dealt with was very rude. The staff seem young and do not seem to know what they are doing.
Business response:
Thank you for offering your comments on The Hampton at Salmon Creek Memory Care Community. I am sorry you were not allowed to meet with your dad once he moved in, but as you know, that was not our restriction. Our 24-hour licensed nurses are dedicated to the care of each resident, and unfortunately, they could not prevent the stroke that happened. We hope your dad is recovering and doing better. If we can serve you in any way, we would be grateful if you would call Kim, our Executive Director.
