I can't express how much I appreciate HarborChase and the way my mom is cared for by all of the staff. Every time I visit her, I notice how attentive the staff is towards all of the residents. My mom had reservations initially about residing there, but now she is so happy, and brags about staff members who go out of their way to make her feel like she is part of the family at HarborChase. The residents are all really great. I would say the community is to except for the billing and the med distribution.It was new, nice clean, and long-term care insurance covered most all of it.
5 across the board! Great experience for my mother, myself and family. The facility is like a 5 star hotel with many amenities. Caring and willing to help in every situation with many years of experience. My mother is in a 1 bed/1 bath with plenty room for her personal treasures. And still has room for walker/wheelchair and family and friends who visit. They offer multiple activities the residents can participate in on a daily bases as desired.
My father is currently a resident at HarborChase of South Oklahoma City and it's been a great experience. The staff is excellent and everyone is friendly. The food is outstanding. The Value for Cost is next level. I would most definitely recommend this facility to family and friends.
Executive Director [name removed] is who you want! She carefully selects all staff positions and leads by example. The staff embraces the needs of residents and create an atmosphere that is hard to find. I would speak of each person by name but not enough space here for that. Additionally, the corporate owners make good decisions that supports what has been described here, a high class facility. For true success, family, visit your loved ones regularly and you will agree. HarborChase is beautiful and wonderful place the staff are amazing [name removed] the sales director goes above and beyond, the whole staff really loves the residents and cares about the families. The place is always clean and iinviting
We chose HarborChase of South Oklahoma City because the facility was laid out like a hotel so it did not feel like a nursing home, it looked like a place that I would like to stay myself where people enjoyed themselves. It was very clean and did not have any odors at all that you might find at some other places. We went to a couple of the activities they had going on and I found them to be entertaining and it gives great value to the residents. I would definitely recommend them to others.
They had an open house. I liked it but it wasn't a good fit for my loved one.
Things the facility does well at - getting you to sign the contract and move in Things they need to improve on - communication with the families, time delivery of the meal, the workers attitudes, and they need to return phone calls. I am disappointed in nurses and aids in the way they talk to my aunt. Disappointed in not returning my calls. Disappointed in billing being wrong 2 months in a row.
