I didn't have any issues with the pre-screening or the exam. The issue came when I felt the staff and the Doctors are not on the same page. I also called several times to rectify my concerns and make sure my prescription was filled; I called twice and was placed on hold for over 30 min. I also emailed one of the doctors. They emailed me back, but the response was different from the staff's response. At this point, I no longer feel comfortable getting the procedure done with Lasiks Vision Institute.
FYI Do NOT get the life time insurance. I feel like I just got robbed for my money. The location I had my Lasik done closed and this is what I'm being told. "The LVI facility where you had your surgery was owned by a company, Vision Group Holdings (VGH), that no longer exists. VGH filed for bankruptcy - its assets were liquidated and its liabilities were discharged. Unfortunately your Lifetime Assurance Plan is no longer a benefit to you and there is no refund available. Recommendedeveryone that works here is very caring and confident in what they do. I just got my surgery done yesterday and seeing great that day. I totally recommend anyone to get there lasik done here at this office in Burlington Massachusetts.

I did extensive research on which surgeon I wanted (they do have different surgeons based on the surgery day that you choose)/ which explains the mixed reviews (people had different surgeons). RecommendedFrom the consultation to post surgery everyone at the LASIK vision Institute in Burlington has been amazing. The atmosphere is very calming and everyone is so nice and knowledgeable. Definitely recommend this location if you are considering LASIK!
Initial consultation was supposed be 1 1/2 to 2 hours...after almost 4 hours I was still waiting to go over cost and next steps. Office is completely unorganized - there was no one at the front desk for more than 30 minutes as the phone just rang and rang and clients come in. When I got there, multiple clients were there but their appointments had been scheduled incorrectly and the office did not have their appointments. RecommendedI highly recommend the procedure, it's the best thing I've ever done! BUT do not think you will be taken when your appointment is scheduled for, they put the 'free consults' ahead of you so they can get them booked. Also, their referral program is a joke. You can send them someone and they'll tell you you'll will get a rebate that never actually comes.
