I went here in April of 2005. My eyesight was to the point of no longer being able to wear contacts because of deterioration. My lenses on my glasses were coke bottle thick. I had been wearing glasses since the second grade. I was desperate to be able to not wear glasses and be able to have normal cheap dollar store sunglasses. I was very impressed by the attention to detail and customization that the Pittsburgh LASIK Vision Institute gave to each patient. I was pleasantly surprised by the relaxed environment and how each returning patient was greeted by name. I had a Great experience at the Lasik Vision institute. The staff here are wonderful. The procedure was quick and painless. So happy I decided to do this for myself.
I wore glasses for over 12 years. I was tired of the constant cleaning, annoyance of them fogging up in the winter every time you go into a room and I also hated how I looked in them. I got the PRK surgery done. It has only been a month and I can see great. At The LASIK Vision Institute, I had an evaluation on a Tuesday and surgery on the following Friday.
