The staff is caring, attentive, and professional. It is obvious that they truly care about the residents. I visited many facilities to try to find the right fit for my loved one, until I visited The Lighthouse. After my tour, I was hopeful that this was the right place for him and it absolutely was the right decision. He is safe, relaxed, and engaged. I can visit him anytime. Staffing was excellent and helpful. Day staff very involved with patients. Unfortunately my mom developed some medical issues they were unable to treat due to state laws. Mom would go to the hospital and staff at the hospital would take her off her dementia medication, which took her back several steps. The facility is beautiful and home like. Most of the aides and nurses were wonderful. Administration was great as well. The food was not so good. Mom did not participate in many of the activities. The value for the money was ... read more

My Mom needed a safe place to live after her stroke, initially we found [community removed]. Mom was left like a piece of furniture, they did nothing with the residents on their memory care unit. When we reported a serious safety concern as a necessary piece of safety equipment was removed from her room, they did absolutely nothing about it for hours. It was a great initial visit. Our first impression, as we walked into the reception area, was how clean and bright it is, and how welcomed we felt by reception, and of course [name removed] the therapy dog. The care for my dad is fabulous, if I have a concern they are right on it. The activities are great and my dad goes to most and has fun. My dad says the food is delicious and generally finishes the whole thing. If he doesn't like what they have for that meal they will find something that he does like. I would recommend the Lighthouse to everyone.

[name removed] has been at The Lighthouse since end of August. I cannot say enough good things about his care, the staff and overall! Very pleased. I would recommend if looking for placement of a loved one ! However, everyones level of need is different but I would say the Lighthouse has satisfied [name removed] many needs.
