RecommendedI last-minute boarded my dogs there over Thanksgiving weekend (I know, I'm THAT client) and they managed to squeeze my dogs in and provided the BEST service possible. My dogs are all on different diets and need special attention due to being food aggressive and they were handled extremely well! I would highly recommend this place! The staff and management team know exactly how a boarding facility should be run.
RecommendedGreat place for all your pets. Dogs enjoy the pool area and the courtyards. The cats have their own condos, which is really nice too. Staff is wondeful with both animals and humans.

I’m devastated by what happened to my dog at The Lodge at New Tampa on 07/23/2025. During what should have been a safe stay at daycare, my dog was viciously attacked by another dog that was there for boarding. The injuries my dog sustained were severe and have required extensive veterinary care. What makes this situation even worse is the complete lack of accountability. Stacy was excellent and exceptional with the small dogs but the woman working there on Friday, March 17th was horrible. She pushed dogs away that were seeking affection and reassurance. She spent the entire time on her phone, basically leaving the dogs unattended.

I am heartbroken. I would like to recommend that if you love and cherish your pets to steer clear of the Lodge. They claimed that my 3 dogs had a wonderful stay with no issues but within hours of checkout I have one deceased dog and 2 living (one of them has bloody diarrhea and kennel cough). This fancy facility is smoke and mirrors. This place literally almost killed one of our dogs. No staff at night. Ate a stuffed toy. We saw stuffing on the floor and thought maybe it got ripped up. Wrong. He ate it and the threw it up days later. A toy in the room disappears and nobody threw it away… they really don’t care beyond lip service. I’m still concerned something is wrong. After taking a tour of this facility a couple of months ago, we finally decided it was time to test our two German Shepherds with boarding at this facility. We usually have our trusted dog sitter come and stay at our home, but one of our pups is newer to our family and she comes with a little house protection issues that we are trying to work through.
