EDIT: and we just got robbed on their property. Our bike with 500 dollars of locks stollen out of their “secure” bike room. They just kind of shrug when you let them know bc there is nothing they can do. they have no security or cameras and put it back on you to figure out. The door wasn’t damaged so maybe other residents or someone who has access to it as well who knows. DO NOT move here and if you do, don’t use their “secure” facilities to store your property whether it’s a car or bike or just storage. You are on your own.... read more
Moved about a year ago, maintenance and front desk staff were quite responsive initially and it is the most affordable option at times on the waterfront but unfortunately due to an error while working on the water system, the plumber pressed the wrong switch and as a result while I was not home my entire apartment flooded. The floors were removed, the toilet removed, the bathroom was taped off and I had about ten square feet remaining to live in/for my things without enough room to lie flat. I recommend the Matisse! I loved living here, and my biggest regret is not moving in sooner. I have no complaints about my unit, noise level, maintenance, or facilities. I have also lived in another building in this neighborhood, and this one has the best parking garage and community lounges, in my opinion. And Tani in the leasing office has been absolutely incredible since day one. I’ll miss it here.
Tani at the front desk always gets back to us quickly (as do the other personnel) and is very helpful. We had some issues with our apartment that did give us pause in the beginning, however we put in a very long maintenance request and quite literally the next business day the maintenance people came and started working. Also, they left a hand written note with a general timeline of what was being done and what was finished which never happened at our last apartment. Appliances seem nice until you live there. There will be charges when you leave. Fire alarms are way too frequent and after a full day, still more repairs. Hot water repairs took multiple days. Extra charges and fines. I dealt with a lot of mold and ac issues that were never addressed until I left.
