I had looked at 6 or so venues when I walked into Stonehaven and within 3 steps inside knew that this was the place for my daughter's wedding. She lives in NY, yet marrying here since they were both TX born and bred. We were looking for a place that allowed us to bring in our own vendors and had a stage. WE WERE VERY PLEASED WITH THE VENUE. THE STAFF WAS EXCELLENT. WE DID FEEL A BIT RUSHED AT THE END TO EXIT EVENTHOUGH WE HAD SOME TIME TO SPARE.
Venue was exactly what we expected, clean & ready for us to come in the day before. Only complaint is that there were gnats or some type of bug that was biting us all throughout the ceremony & photos. As a bride it was rather annoying to try to take photos while my skin is red & itchy. Other than that our event was perfect thanks to Boulder Springs!
Boulder Springs provided me an amazing venue both outside at the ceremony site and inside for the reception. It was the absolute best day of my life and I could not imagine having it anywhere else. Anita went above and beyond to meet our needs and just her 'realness', flexibility and understanding was such a blessing to us. Everything was perfect!
Since the location is remote it would have been good to have a microwave available for use in the kitchen, and an iron & ironing board on hand. Would have been nice to have a shower in the bridal ready room and the grooms ready room. Some type of table or altar would be nice outside where the bride and groom said their vows. We had to bring in so much, all of these extra items filled another carload and contributed to extra drive time and hauling. So for the price it would have been nice to have on site. We were very pleased. The wedding was beautiful. The facility was tasteful and elegant and very nicely decorated, all with a hill country feel. We had just over 200 guests, and there was plenty of room for dancing, a photo booth, and all of our guests to mingle. The bridal, groom, and band rooms were large, comfortable, and served their purpose well. The outdoor landscaping and gazebo were beautiful and had a wonderful view, but it was too hot to make full use of it. The parking lot makes for a somewhat dusty floor, however.
A beautiful venue and a tremendous value for any event. Everyone is so friendly and helpful.
We LOVED this venue!!! It was so perfect for us because of the price, the location, and the fact that our pictures came out beautifully! The price you pay includes full access to the venue from 8am the morning of until 12pm that evening, trash and clean up, tables to seat 320, indoor and outdoor chairs to seat 320, rehearsal (schedule permitting), and portrait sessions (schedule permitting).
