The health and safety of individuals is at extreme risk at these venues during the COVID19 pandemic. They are truly putting the health of many people at risk during this unprecedented time. On top of that, they say they are taking precautionary measures, but fail to provide a safe environment on the dance floor/ during the reception. So, my wedding is less than a month away and I am already having problems. They made it seem so perfect when they wanted us to pick them and they seemed so flexible but it’s all a scam! They only will let us set up in less than an hour which is not fair because we have a band playing that needs to set up before and to decorate. The location is beautiful. Audrey was very quick to respond to any correspondence. There was no ability to prepare any food indoors and no help if it rained. We were told by an associate that the grill we rented could be left over the weekend for the rental place to pick up but Audrey then said no costing us $150 to have a weekend pick up. There was no remorse or apology.

While we give Boulder Springs credit for being responsive, their responses are too impersonal and brief. On several occasions, we had to contact them multiple times just to get all of the information we needed. The tours, meetings, brochures, inflexibility on the price and contract terms, and curt correspondence made us feel like we were just another number to them. Stonehaven by Walters Wedding Estates's reply: Boulder Springs would like to address the 2 complaints. As stated in our contract, " if the hall is available the day before, you can come in for 4 hours to set up and rehearse." It is not always feasible to have rehearsals the day before weddings. Boulder Springs did work on negotiating with both brides to have a time that would work and they were all in agreement. A Sunday bride cannot set up on Saturday when there is a wedding taking place. Boulder Springs is lovely and we had the most incredible experience except for the required bartending service. After I kindly asked the lead bartender to please put away the tip jar because we didn't want our guests paying for anything, she was rude to me and our guests the entire evening. We had already paid them in full for multiple bartenders and additional helpers for 150 guests. I also assured her we would be tipping all of them at the end of the night. We were a little disappointed in the dirty floors of the venue. I know there was an issue with the cleaner not returning on Sunday to finish their job of cleaning the fascility. Also, the the brides room had fast food garbage in the waste basket. Again I realize the cleaner didn't do his job but the presentation of the fascility for our event suffered because of it.
