I've lived here for a couple years now and it's just gotten better and better! When I first moved in it was good, but there was a bit of a disconnect between maintenance/office and residents. I guess they went through a transition period the last year because there was always someone new in the managers office. I LOVE THE PADDOCK CLUB! I have lived here for several years. I love my home and the staff is amazing. They have gone through some transitions recently and everything has been changed for the better! I am so proud to call this place home and look forward to staying here for a while longer. Maintenance takes care of everything quickly. Staff treats me with respect and are always willing to spend time with me when I have issues. I would encourage everyone to consider this community. I love it!
Living here has been frustrating. In just two years, there have been four different property managers, and service has steadily declined. The leasing office no longer allows walk-ins, phone calls are handled by AI with no way to reach a real person, and communication is nearly impossible. Trash service is unreliable -- we're forced to pay $9/month for door-to-door pickup that often misses collections, while also paying for a trash compactor that's frequently broken. BEWARE CAUSE THEY DON'T FIX ANYTHING!! Was dealing with mold for months, then they finally cut the mold out after painting over it to sell this place back in March. Mid-American Apartments sold it to "Paddock Foothill LLC" after a fire that happened at the end of December. After they cut the mold out it was left that way for another month. Electrical wiring is still exposed to this very day from water dripping into the light fixture for weeks. This place is by far, one of the worst complexes for anyone to live in. Office staff appear to be unknowledgeable about a lot of things that they should know more about. The maintenance straight up sucks. Work orders that are called in, take anywhere from 3-4 weeks for resolution. I noticed a couple of 5-star reviews, but they were from 2017 and 2018, because here in 2024, there is nothing 5-star or otherwise about this sh*thole. Some work orders took months to complete. 0 stars is more like it. This place is NOT worth 300 a month. Let's talk about the issues: 1. The office staff is FUDE 2. You submit maintenance requests, and they do NOT fix it. 3. When they do come out, they 1/2 a$$ it. They replaced a mixing valve in June, and there is still a hole in the wall. 4. I still have yet to recover mailbox keys. 5. I would give zero stars, if I could...The Paddock Club is trash, and needs to be reported to DHEC, and BBB. They do not empty dog waste cans, or provide bags for residents to pick up after their dogs, when they evict people, they put all their belongings on the sidewalk, which impedes traffic, coming, and going from apartments.
