Dr Minas was the third doctor I had seem about my knee. He immediately put me at ease, took the time to explain all my . He listened to my concerns and then explained why he felt one course of treatment was better suited to my situation than another. He really took the time to listen to me as a patient and a person. I could not have made a better chose of surgeons for my knee.
While specific information about how the arthroplasty would be performed and what the post-op experience would be like was hard to glean at the pre-op stage, Dr Minas showed a confidence and professionalism that made me feel quite at ease that I was making the right decision at the right time in my life.
Dr Minas and his staff are all talk, full of promise but does not deliver. Good luck getting a hold of him, a follow-up appointment, answers to questions. The worst physician experience ever, no less an unsuccessful surgery.

If everything works out you will have a stellar review. But if you have any complications this will be as bad of a doctor and group as you can Imagine. Because Minas is a leader in the field of Maci you also won't be able to find a Doctor to do a revision or see you afterward to see what went wrong. His staff can be nasty and not understanding of what you are going through. I am long in the time line of where I should have nearly made a full recovery from a Maci. Terrible! Had hip surgery, let me go home too soon even after the PT begged me to stay. Was weak and fell at home and was transported back to the hospital. His nurse practitioner is rude and yelled at me. Hard to contact and get an appointment as he travels so much.

Competent doctor, but charges 5 times the orthopedic surgeon that I saw at Brigham and Women's in Boston (one of the top hospitals in the country).
I am writing this review on Dr Minas because I had my 2nd visit scheduled with him . He stayed in his office never came in had pa do the visit, I was not happy as I had a few questions that were not answered. When leaving the room after visit there the dr was sitting there at his desk.My surgery went smoothly and recovery is well but would not recommend because of this.My first visit after total replacement was with the pa who is very good.
Stay away. got infected with both knees, surgery failed and have to have surgery again to correct what he did. I was told by several top doctors the surgery he did was antiquated.
