The vibes are immaculate. Gorgeous space and cool concept. The music was great and the service was friendly. My only real critique is the lack of substantial vegetarian options. I typically just grab a salad, fries, and glass of wine (girl dinner!) when options are low but the fries and chips are made in beef tallow. I’ve suggested it to a few people already even though it’s not for me.

Great atmosphere and vibe. Music was a nice mix and although louder, it was still at a volume where you could speak and hear the conversations. Food was delicious…a little pricey for the portion but overall worth it. The wine was perfect.

The Pretender is unlike anything else in the Indianapolis area. The atmosphere is intimate, stylish, and thoughtfully designed, with an incredible hi-fi sound system that makes the music part of the entire experience.
