I really did some amazing research, going to about nine facilities to find the perfect place for my mom. We are very happy with our decision at the Residence at Basking Ridge. Communication seems to be a problem, but they did just open in October so I have to be patient. Looking at the big picture, mom is cared for & happy and so am I. The meals that were served to the residents at the beginning were very good but now they are not as good since the chef has left. When it comes to the value for cost all assisted living is way too expensive in this country. Based on the experience we have had with The Residence at Basking Ridge, we would recommend this community to other families.
My Mom is very happy here. It is a brand new facility and she has been here just 2 months. The staff is very friendly and willing to help. The newness of the facility and much of the staff does lead to some slow response - especially in the dining room.
My dad has had a very good experience with The Residence At Basking Ridge. My dad was glad it was brand new, although that came with it's own issues, the opening was delayed many months.
