There was a staff member there that was a lifesaver for me. my husband was not going to go and she helped me and was with me every step of the way. The staff was just fabulous even though my husband was difficult due to his condition. Also, the food was tasty I really enjoyed this community and would recommend it.
As many of you are aware there are many different communities to choose from around the area. When i came in to tour i didn't feel pressured like many of it's competitors by the sales team (let's be honest every community has them). The Resident Care Director and The Memory Care Director is what sold the community for me though. They are very upfront and honest, experienced, and sold me by action and words not by money. This community has only been opened for a year or so. Everything is still very clean and looks new very nice. The staff is very nice professional. They offer a nice variety of services and amenities. The community is centrally located
I am happy with the care that my mom is getting at this nice community. The staff are very helpful and keep me informed on her progress. The meals are very appealing and she is pleased with the variety of meals. They do go to my mom's room to make sure that she is active. I would recommend this community for other families.
I would recommend you go to another community for your loved one. The staff doesn't answer the call buttons of the residents, and when they did it would take an extremely long time. There was a time that my loved one had to call me that my loved one had gotten sick, and then I had to call the community to clean my loved one up, since my loved didn't get assistance after a few minutes. Do not recommend Residence at Quarry Hill for anyone who needs any type of care. They lie about their nursing support, my mother did not receive medications that her doctors had forwarded to them and no one was logging issues she was having. Their model is that when a resident complains of an illness, they just call the ambulance and have them sent to the hospital, it happened multiple times with us. Not anything like what was advertised or discussed prior to my mother arriving. Been here 3 months and the care is horrendous. No nursing staff after 11 pm. Assistants don’t give nurses issues they encountered. Prescriptions orders from doctor have to be constantly checked. Sometimes meds don’t get to resident for 3 days. Food is Bad. Nice menu but really bad. If you parent needs assistance; this is NOT the place. Very disappointing.and very expensive for the non-care received.
