I was not thrilled with The Residence at Summer Street. When we walked in it kind of smelled like a hospital and just felt very institutional.
She is very happy here. Most people there are great but she's had some issues with cleaning staff. She has been very impressed with the food and the activities - much happier than she expected to be there ( in assisted living).
The community is nice it is a little bit smaller but it is very clean. Staff is attentive and the food is good. The community has a lot of entertainment for the residents.
My mother has been living at the Residence at Summer Street for over 3 months. We were concerned it would take a long time for an adjustment. Not at all, it was quick and seamless. The staff is fantastic. The areas are so clean, and safe. The food has been wonderful too.
It is rare to find a business that is exceptional in every way. Residence At Summer Street is ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING in every category for a senior community!! Selected the Residence at Sunmer Street for my father’s assisted living. In 1 year, they increased his bill by over 50%. Bait & Switch tactics. They promised reasonable us reasonable increases yet here we are thousands more a month vs a year ago. In fact, they said that was what the other guys would do. Well guess what, it’s exactly what the Residence at Summer Street did and continues to do. I wouldn't choose this community, for my parents. It seems to be mostly vacant, there was hardly anyone around when I toured. I didn't have a sales person, I believe they said they were maintenance. It is new and looks good, however not much to do.
