Located in Northern California’s Mendocino County there is a skunk running through the redwood forest, but this isn’t any skunk, it’s the world famous Skunk Train. The California redwoods, pristine coastline, and award winning vineyards are all a part of the landscape of what makes Mendocino County such an amazing place and home to this 131-year-old train.

I had so much fun when I went on the Skunk Train years ago, I can hardly wait to take my son.
It has been 15 years since we had been on the train. It was just like I remembered it. My kids where 2 and 5 and now they are 18 and 20. They enjoyed it as adults. It was to short and I missed the observation deck and the tunnel. Hope they get that fixed soon. I would love to come back and ride the it when that is open. Brandy
My new husband surprised me with a ride on. The train. Omg felt like a little kid full of wonder and excitement. Loved it ♡♡♡
I've been going since I was a child, 30+ years ago, with my avid train aficionado and dearly loved Father.
We went on the dinner train from Willits to Northspur and also went on the Pudding Creek Adventure which the kids loved both. Nice crisp air, native plants, and just fun for all...
