Located in Northern California’s Mendocino County there is a skunk running through the redwood forest, but this isn’t any skunk, it’s the world famous Skunk Train. The California redwoods, pristine coastline, and award winning vineyards are all a part of the landscape of what makes Mendocino County such an amazing place and home to this 131-year-old train.

A Christmas magical Experience. This was a excellent journey of Christmas magic. From Santa, grandma, elf and Teddy Bear and Christmas decorations ,Christmas caroles and a warm town waving to everyone aboard the Christmas train. We loved it. A wonderful Christmas memory.
Great times, been on the Skunk train a dozen times, never a bad exprience. Loved it in the 1970s and now! Jewel of the region. Fantastic fun, great views, neat history. Highly recommended.
Took a ride on the Skunk Train a few years ago. I enjoyed the scenery and learning the history of the area and the railroad.
Love this! Our 4 boys look forward to riding the Skunk Train every summer! A highlight of our vacation!
